Brimming with fun, funky and one of a kind pieces of local art The Outpost is a fun place to shop.The always “Green” Owner, Leslie Gilchrist displays eco-friendly items readily available and in abundance. Nite lites made from recycled bottles, skirts made of recycled jeans & t-shirts, rainbarrels & friendly palm frond fish are the just start! Tiki masks are painted to whimsical perfection and groovy carved wooden bowls are part of what Gulfport is. Tikis small and large, handmade jewelry, and Hawaiian shirts by Ben Worn and Ima Stillgood. Who could pass up a kayak trip from the beach or a guided eco-tour of Clam Bayou! And remember “If you’re too weird for Gulfort, you’re just too weird.”
